Children are invited to join us on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. for a fun time of singing, bible stories and activities that help them learn more about Jesus. The children have music for 30 minutes and 30 minutes for bible lessons and activities. A snack is usually provided. An activity is planned once a month for the children and parents to participate in. Some of the activities involved are: Movie Nights, Hayrides, Cook-outs, Pool parties, Beach trips, Zoo trips, The Message of Easter, Easter Egg Hunts, etc. The children also visit the shut-ins several times a year and take them a basket of food and/or other items. They also sing a few songs and are encouraged to recite Bible verses they have learned. Once a year, the children work on learning a musical to present at Christmas. This involves drama and music and the children usually work hard for about 3 months. The musical is presented on a Sunday morning or Sunday night in December. | |
